About The Position

Advanced Workzone Services is hiring a Traffic Control Tech./Road Construction Laborer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The employee may perform traffic control and road construction tasks, with on-the-job training provided to new hires. Work is performed outdoors, including in hot weather, and on-site in person. Candidates must be punctual and have reasonable transportation to and from work. The role requires lifting at least 100 pounds, passing a pre-employment drug screening, and holding a valid driver’s license. A CDL may benefit the hourly wage. High school diploma or GED and traffic control technician or supervisor training are recommended but not required; training may be provided during employment. Requirements

Responsibilities

Set and maintain traffic control devices.
Set forms, reinforcing steel, and anchor bolts, and pour concrete for sign foundations.
Erect pipe and angle-iron frameworks by bolting, welding, or other means before installation of directional and informational signs.
Work from plans to locate and drill holes or hoist signs into place.
Fasten signs to frameworks by bolting or other means.
Perform other signing project work, including delineators, striping and striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours.
Place traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites and maintain them in their proper locations and operating condition.
Service and repair equipment and devices.
