About The Position

Frontline Traffic Services is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join their team as Traffic Control Person(s) (TCPs) in the New Brunswick area, specifically Moncton and surrounding areas. This role involves managing traffic through construction sites. The company is a well-established traffic control company servicing construction contractors across Atlantic Canada, with operations in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. They pride themselves on safety, reliability, and customer service, and are looking for individuals to contribute to their growing team. Entry-level positions are available, and full training is provided, including transportation to and from work.

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
• Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Valid TCP Certification an asset.
• Valid Class 5 License an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas.
• Adapt traffic control setups to support moving paving operations.
• Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
• Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
• Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
• Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
