About The Position

Perch is seeking an experienced and proven top-performing Mortgage Associate to join their fully remote team in Canada. This role is ideal for individuals who are currently elite mortgage associates or mortgage advisors at a bank/credit union and are looking to eliminate the administrative burden of their workflow. Perch offers a proprietary system that automates 70% of the workflow, eliminates the need for underwriting, and provides dedicated support to allow associates to focus on building relationships and closing deals. Perch is a 4X award-winning mortgage brokerage founded in 2018, based in Toronto, and works with homeowners across Canada.

Requirements

• Originated at least $10M in mortgages in the last 12 months.
• Demonstrated ability to self-generate most or all of your leads.
• Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience as a licensed Mortgage Associate or as a Mortgage Advisor at a bank or credit union.

Responsibilities

• Focus on building relationships and closing deals.
• Nurture client pipeline and identify new opportunities.
• Guide clients step-by-step through their application.
• Integrate Equifax soft credit checks.
• Automatically request the correct documents from clients.
• Handle compliance and FINTRAC reporting.
• Manage client intake, document gathering, and appraisal bookings (with support).
• Keep referral partners informed with automatic status updates.
