About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic-control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team.

The role involves guiding traffic safely through work zones, setting up and maintaining temporary traffic-control zones, and assisting Crew Leaders. The position offers paid, in-house training and opportunities for advancement, including the possibility of becoming a Crew Leader in 30–60 days. Pay is $16.50–$18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle-driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Availability Monday through Friday, with work starting as early as 6 a.m. and continuing into the late afternoon.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Must obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.
• Use approved two-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic-control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
• Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
