About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) to protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team.

This role involves guiding traffic safely through work zones, setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control zones, and supporting Crew Leaders. It offers hands-on experience in the traffic control industry and opportunities to advance into leadership and other roles. Pay is $16.50–$18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites.
• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Availability Monday through Friday, as early as 6 a.m. through late afternoon.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Must obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, workers, and clients.
• Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency at job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
• Guide traffic through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication.
