As a Protector, you work with a team at job sites to support traffic safety. No experience or degree is needed; training and support are provided. The work is outdoors year-round and involves setting up and taking down traffic control equipment, guiding traffic, monitoring the job site, following safety procedures, communicating with crew members and supervisors, and helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe. Shifts may change based on job needs, and some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required. You may stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift. The company provides a hard hat, safety goggles, safety vest, safety whistle, walkie-talkie, and cold- and hot-weather gear. Employees must provide their own above-the-ankle steel-toe safety boots.
