About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team. The role involves guiding traffic safely through work zones, assisting Crew Leaders with work-zone setup and maintenance, and contributing to public safety and infrastructure development. The listed pay range is $16.50–$18.50 per hour. Advancement opportunities may lead to Crew Leader and other leadership or safety roles, with promotion opportunities stated as possible in 30–90 days.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Availability Monday through Friday, with work starting as early as 6 a.m. and extending to late afternoon.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Must obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
• Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency on job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
• Guide traffic safely through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication.
