About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones. This outdoor, team-based role involves guiding traffic safely using appropriate equipment and communication, and contributes to public safety and infrastructure development. The listed pay range is $16.50–$18.50 per hour. Advancement opportunities, including a potential path to Crew Leader in 30–90 days, are available.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle, and be able to drive independently to and from job sites; ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, as early as 6 a.m. through late afternoon.
• Must be able to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Must obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches in height.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
• Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency on job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders in setting up and maintaining work zones.
• Guide traffic safely using appropriate equipment and communication.
