About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also referred to as Crew Members, to protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic-control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched from home directly to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team, assisting Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining safe work zones. The position offers opportunities to advance into leadership and other roles, potentially becoming a Crew Leader within 30–90 days.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle-driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Available Monday through Friday, with work starting as early as 6 a.m. and continuing into the late afternoon.
• Able to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Obtain lace-up steel-toe or composite-toe boots that extend above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic-control work zones.
• Guide and control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, workers, and clients.
• Use appropriate equipment and communication to guide traffic safely through work zones.
• Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
• Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
