About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic-control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and guide traffic safely through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication. They assist Crew Leaders in setting up and maintaining work zones. The role is suited to people who prefer outdoor, team-based work and variety, and who want to contribute to community safety and infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle; must drive independently to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Satisfactory driving record meeting company vehicle-driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Availability Monday through Friday, with work starting as early as 6 a.m. and extending to late afternoon.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.
• Use approved two-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic-control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
• Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
• Use appropriate equipment and communication to guide traffic safely through work zones.
