About The Position

This position is responsible for coordinating the receiving process with docks and releasing loads to carriers. The Traffic Clerk provides administrative support by performing general clerical duties such as filing, keying, faxing, and entering/extracting data from multiple systems. A key responsibility is ensuring inbound trailer information is accurate by entering, editing, and/or removing trailer information in the system and creating, updating, and sending appointment schedules to carriers.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience in Walmart Supply Chain clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing)
  • OR 1 year’s experience in clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheet, word processing).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates receiving process with docks and releases loads to carriers.
  • Provides administrative support by performing general clerical duties such as filing, keying, faxing, and entering/extracting data from multiple systems.
  • Ensures inbound trailer information is accurate by entering, editing, and/or removing trailer information in the system.
  • Creates, updates, and sends appointment schedules to carriers.
