About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Traditional BC/BE OBGYN physician to join our growing team in the Northwest Georgia Mountains. Northside Hospital System is the undisputed leader in maternity services, delivering more babies a year than any other community hospital in the country. In addition to having an expert staff and state-of-the-art maternity facilities, Northside provides mothers a full spectrum of care, from conception to birth and beyond. Northside Cherokee Hospital is a newly built, 9-year-old campus committed to advancing health care in Cherokee County. This 332-bed, full-service community hospital has 1,400 physicians and more than 3,800 employees. It is home to a robust OR with 5 Da Vinci Robots and incredible surgical teams. The recent women's center expanded with the addition of 15 NICU rooms and 18 postpartum and delivery rooms. The position offers a mix of Gyn & OB, the opportunity to build rewarding patient relationships, and wonderful collaboration among multidisciplinary teams in a beautiful new hospital with a Level III NICU.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• BC or BE in OB/GYN
• Active GA medical license or the ability to obtain a GA medical license

Responsibilities

• Join a group of 7 physicians, 2 Midwifes, and 4 APPs
• Participate in a large call group
• Build rewarding patient relationships
• Collaborate among multidisciplinary teams
• Provide a mix of Gyn & OB care
