About The Position

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Eureka, CA. This is an outpatient clinical role with no delivery responsibilities. The physician will manage both high-risk and low-risk OB patients, perform and interpret dating ultrasounds, and provide newborn care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency. The average daily patient volume is 18.

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC)
• California (CA) License
• Active DEA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR) Certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Dating Ultrasounds

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinical services without delivery responsibilities.
• Manage both high-risk and low-risk OB patients.
• Perform and interpret dating ultrasounds.
• Provide newborn care as required.
• Maintain timely chart documentation and closure within 72 hours.
