About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a permanent position in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves both clinical duties and on-call responsibilities, serving patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The practice focuses on low-risk pregnancies (70%), high-risk pregnancies (10%), and C-sections (30%). The physician will manage an average patient census of 20, with approximately 8 deliveries and 8 surgeries per week. The practice is supported by 5 physicians and 2 APPs. On-site lab and ultrasound services are available, and the EMR system used is Epic.
Requirements
- Active CO license or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- Clean Record
- NPDB Report
Responsibilities
- Manage low-risk pregnancies, including patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.
- Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE).
- Handle Labor & Delivery, including routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps), decision-making for C-sections, and complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.).
- Perform VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
- Provide clinical care and participate in on-call duties.
