About The Position
Cetera is seeking a Trading Specialist for its St. Cloud, Minnesota office. The role supports the Trading Desk and its clients by handling administrative requests, responding to information requests, explaining trading procedures, providing quotes, and researching trading issues. The specialist also ensures trades meet internal and external compliance standards. This is a prerequisite position for the licensed Trader position.
Requirements
- Organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and general databases.
- Desire to expand knowledge of equity trading; this role is a prerequisite position for the licensed Trader position.
Responsibilities
- Complete administrative requests from field representatives, including trade corrections and mutual fund conversions.
- Complete information requests from external agencies.
- Support the Trading Desk in servicing clients.
- Explain trading procedures to representatives and other customers, answer questions, and provide quotes.
- Research and resolve issues in the trading area.
- Ensure all trades meet internal and external compliance standards.
