About The Position
Cool Today is hiring a Trades Dispatcher to support its heating and cooling business in Sarasota. The role helps deliver customer service by coordinating daily technician schedules, dispatching work orders, communicating with customers and field personnel, and handling related records and paperwork. The position offers market-value compensation of $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience, and a benefits package that includes paid time off, health, vision and dental plans, a 401(k) with company match, insurance coverage, special program options, and professional development. The schedule must be flexible, with shifts potentially staffed any time from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; evenings and weekends may be required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or a related industry.
- Experience with trades dispatching is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, with staffing possible any time from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with ServiceTitan.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and monitor daily technician schedules.
- Dispatch work orders to field technicians based on priority and location.
- Receive and record completed work orders from field technicians.
- Contact customers to confirm next-day appointments.
- Communicate with field personnel via Outlook.
- Handle paperwork for assigned departments and technicians.
- Maintain an accurate technician database.
- Coordinate parts scheduling.
- Answer customer questions about rebates, system operations, warranties, and related topics.
