Summer Internship Program 2027 - Trade Operations and Market Supervision Intern
About The Position
The Trade Operations and Market Supervision Intern will support the team's exception and alert triage process. The ICE Internship Program combines hands-on work on business-impacting projects with career and professional development. Interns participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and learn about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. The internship is based at the Atlanta office and requires full-time, five-day-a-week availability for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Candidates select a preferred session during the application process; partial participation or alternate dates cannot be accommodated.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and advancing to at least junior year of study.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance or Economics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in financial markets and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Available to work full-time, five days a week, at the Atlanta office for the entire duration of one designated program schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time and post-trade activity for anomalies and assist with reviewing system-generated alerts.
- Research and help resolve trade breaks, exceptions, and data discrepancies, escalating unresolved items to team members.
- Contribute to daily and end-of-day checkout procedures and confirm records reconcile across platforms.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
