About The Position

Central Transport is seeking a Tractor Tech to help maintain its fleet of tractors, trailers, and forklifts. The role performs preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Class 8 tractors and related equipment. Starting pay is $32 per hour. Company-paid training modules and free uniforms are provided.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• A basic set of tools.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical and after-treatment systems on Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, trailers, and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other components to ensure proper working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
