About The Position
PAM Transport is seeking motivated, skilled tractor/trailer mechanics to help keep freight moving. Technicians perform repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers, with opportunities for people ranging from beginners to skilled leaders. The role is in person and is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Pay is $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- At least one year of trailer or mechanical experience.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Own basic tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform accident-damage repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
- Perform aluminum and steel welding.
- Perform various maintenance and repair tasks on trucks and trailers.
- Document and maintain equipment records properly.
- Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
- Repair wood and metal flooring in trailers.
- Repair trailer brake systems and axles.
