About The Position
We’re looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging History Tour Guides to lead visitors through Williamsburg and share the stories, people, places, and events that shaped its past. Tourismo offers entertaining, historic, and authentic tours and experiences across the United States in over 300 cities and counting. If you love history and pirates then join us as a daytime tour guide! We aim to deliver fun, yet honest accounts of the history across the nation.
Requirements
- A deep passion for history, storytelling, and historic research
- Strong public speaking skills to engage and educate your tour groups
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a bartender, acting or theater experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging walking and history tours of Williamsburg.
- Deliver fun, compelling historical narratives with enthusiasm and professional public speaking skills.
- Bring historical events and personalities to life through compelling storytelling.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer guest questions, and facilitate a memorable, entertainment-driven tour experience.
