Skyhawks SportsMeridian, ID
Onsite

About The Position

Skyhawks Sports is seeking enthusiastic individuals to lead their Tots programs, including SoccerTots, BaseballTots, and Multi-SportTots. These programs focus on building confidence, joy, and bravery in children aged 2-5 through playful, skill-based sessions. The role involves engaging young children and their parents, creating a safe and fun environment, and setting up equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who is naturally patient, playful, and nurturing, with a genuine passion for working with young children. Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or parenting is highly valued, while extensive sports background is not required.

Requirements

  • You're the person everyone says is "so good with little kids" — and you've heard it your whole life.
  • You bring a natural combination of patience, playfulness, and nurturing presence.
  • You know that a 3-year-old having a meltdown isn't a problem to manage, it's a child who needs connection — and you know how to give it.
  • You're reliable: you show up, you follow through, you never leave a group of toddlers and parents wondering where their coach is.
  • You care about more than a paycheck — you want work that genuinely matters.
  • You don't need a sports resume. You need a heart for little ones and the energy to match.
  • Experience in childcare, early childhood education, preschool, or parenting absolutely counts here.
  • Some sports background is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Availability for evening classes and/or Saturday mornings between 9am–12pm.
  • Willingness to travel to cities such as Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Avimor, Star.
