About The Position
BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun and engaging Soccer and Basketball programs for elementary-aged students in Woodbridge, VA. This part-time, after-school position involves leading 1.5-hour sessions Monday through Friday in the afternoons. Coaches will teach age-appropriate fundamentals, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for groups of approximately 15-25 students. The role offers a flexible schedule, provided curriculum and equipment, and opportunities for advancement within BBA Afterschool.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
- Reliable transportation to schools throughout Woodbridge
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Must successfully complete the required Prince William County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
Nice To Haves
- Soccer or basketball playing/coaching experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Experience in both soccer and basketball is a plus
Responsibilities
