Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for developing compensation and benefit strategies that drive growth, optimize workforce and drive productivity. maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. The TR Manager will research, analyze, evaluate and manage the day to day of medical, life, disability and other benefit plans and act as a benefit advisor to employees. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employee and lead in advisory capacity to senior The TR Manager will have direct supervision of team members as it relates to HRIS and leave administration; to ensure accuracy and delegate work and oversight of projects that will allow Bronxworks to reach deliverables in a timely and accurately fashion.

Requirements

  • BA level degree required. Master’s degree or HR Certification preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive benefits experience in HRIS, Benefit Administrative and compensation.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and services
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills
  • Diligent follow up skills
  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or HR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, expertise and guidance for employees that are responsible for compensation and benefit administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, procedures and policies.
  • Partner with the Finance team to ensure timely payment of monthly premiums, compensation and reimbursement procedures.
  • Develop an effective strategy for benefits enrollment during open enrollment time periods.
  • Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture.
  • Complete market studies to ensure compensation practices allow for strategic talent acquisition, talent retention practices and enrich total compensation
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with vendors; Act as the subject matter expert on Health & Welfare Benefits and vendor/carrier products and services.
  • Oversee open enrollment process for clients, Review employee presentations and communication materials.
  • Cultivate and maintain benefits vendor relationship to ensure that employees are receiving exemplary treatment.
  • Keep leadership team apprised of appropriate industry trends and events, including all state and federal regulatory issues. Explain legislative guidelines including COBRA, HIPPA, ERISA, Section 125, and Health Care Reform to clients; Keep employees aware of updates on relevant
