About The Position

The Total Joint Surgeon will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. This practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy. This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. Candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Requirements

• Strong background in Total Joint Surgery
• Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
• Board Certification/Eligibility
• MD or DO degree
• Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure

Responsibilities

• Perform total hip replacement
• Perform total knee replacement
• Perform partial knee replacement
• Perform hip resurfacing
• Perform revision joint surgery
• Perform minimally invasive joint replacement
• Perform robotic-assisted joint replacement
• Perform joint preservation procedures
• Manage periprosthetic fractures
• Treat joint infections
• Participate in general orthopedic call
