About The Position
Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Total Joint Surgeon to join their well-established, multi-specialty orthopedic practice. With over 75 years of trusted care in the community and 5 convenient locations, the practice is growing and expanding services to meet patient demand. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surgeon looking to build a thriving total joint practice within a collaborative, physician-led group. The position offers a primary focus on hip and knee replacement, with an emphasis on total joints, and the opportunity to grow and shape your own total joint program. Physicians will benefit from a strong internal and external referral base, access to modern facilities, advanced imaging, and dedicated OR support, while working alongside experienced orthopedic colleagues.
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of Orthopedic residency and Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint preferred
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Orthopedic surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in [inpatient/outpatient/both] settings
- Diagnose, treat, and manage [specialty-specific conditions]
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Participate in call coverage as assigned, which varies by hospital, as each hospital has its own guidelines, but JFK is 2/3 days a month.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Contribute to practice development and growth initiatives
