About The Position

Capital Electric is seeking a Tools, Fastener and Safety Specialist to support selling and sourcing products for end-user contractors and industrial customers. While product knowledge in Tools, Fasteners, and Safety is preferred, it is not required. The role is critical to the success of the Tools, Fasteners, and Safety (TFS) Specialist by engaging associates across Capital Electric to support activities related to stocking, promoting, and selling TFS products. Capital Electric is part of the Sonepar group, a global leader in electrical distribution.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Tools, Fasteners and Safety products preferred, not required.
• Ability to work independently
• Must have good analytical and computer skills including mastery of MS Office software
• Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP preferred, but not required (Training offered)
• Ability to communicate and present effectively with / to counter, inside and outside salespeople, vendors, purchasing, marketing in a professional manner
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
