About The Position

StorageMart is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at $17.00 per hour. The role supports the Store Manager in growing the business and maximizing sales while providing customer support by phone, in person, and email. The Assistant Store Manager opens, operates, and closes the office; performs light facility maintenance and cleaning; manages customer accounts and account setup; and handles general administrative tasks, including debt management. The position may require occasional travel to support other stores. Requirements

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
• Valid driver’s license, valid vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to support store operations, business growth, and sales.
• Assist customers by phone, in person, and email, addressing their needs and providing support.
• Open, operate, and close the office.
• Perform light maintenance and clean the property to help keep it clean, safe, and secure.
• Manage customer accounts, assist with account setup, and complete administrative tasks, including debt management.
• Occasionally travel between locations to support other stores and maintain consistent standards.
• Work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
