About The Position

This position will require 6 to 12 months of training on day shift (7a-3p) prior to transferring to 3rd shift (11p-7a). The core responsibilities include NC machining operations for the manufacturing of dies and fixtures, programming of CNC machines for the same (Hyper Mill preferred), determining sequencing of machining operations, working with engineering on tool designs, and determining repair methods for dies and fixtures. The role also involves performing a wide variety of machining operations requiring difficult setups and methods to maintain very close tolerances, constructing, repairing, fitting, and assembling tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to ensure correct fits and proper operations, and making necessary tool tryouts and diagnosing and correcting problems. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to perform the physical and functional requirements of the job, including standing for the majority of the work shift.
• Must possess a high levels of organization, detail orientation, self-awareness and prioritization skills.
