About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate creation of daily pick lists, verifying that staged and loaded shipments match paperwork and customer requirements, and ensuring all shipments are posted. The Shipping Coordinator will interface with production scheduling and customer service to maintain schedule accuracy and ensure all Advance Ship Notices (ASNs) are sent according to customer requirements. The position also involves assisting the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor as needed and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Completed grade 12.
• Knowledge of Computer applications necessary, particularly excel.
• Organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of related policies and procedures.
• Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
• Understanding of Forms, Labels, and Tags governing job function.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years related experience as a shipper/receiver or material handler.
• Experience communicating with Customers.
• Escore knowledge would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate creation of daily pick lists reflecting required shipments.
• Ensure that staged shipments exactly match paperwork and meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that loaded shipments exactly match paperwork and meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that all shipments are posted.
• Interface with production scheduling and customer service to ensure that all shipments are correct and to schedule 100% of the time.
• Ensure that completed shipments are forwarded to customer service, all ASN’S are sent per Customer Requirements.
• Assists Shipping & Receiving Supervisor where necessary.
• Perform other related duties as instructed by management.
