About The Position

Build, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures to support production. This role operates within the Tool Room - Production department at the Deerfield Manufacturing facility in Mason, Ohio. The position requires working from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, and jigs, and involves setting up and operating all tool room equipment. The Tool & Die Maker will also assist production with problem-solving on tooling issues and must be safety conscious, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• 4 years plus proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience on stamping dies.
• Willing to work any and all overtime as required.
• Excellent attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair tooling using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.
• Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.
• Set up and operate all tool room equipment.
• Assist production with problem solving on tooling issues.
• Be safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
