2nd shift Tool & Die Maker; Pay starting at $26.85/hour
About The Position
As a Tool & Die Maker, you’ll be part of our team located in Martin, TN. You’ll get to manufacture, assemble, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. You will interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, and operate and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment. Understanding material properties and selecting appropriate metals for tooling improves durability and performance. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to solve technical challenges. Competence in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and conducting quality inspections is critical.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of machining, metallurgy, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman's card and/or tool & die experience preferred.
