As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinists Order tooling for the department Interact with vendors and obtain quotes Organize and maintain inventory through Applied Medical's inventory control application Understand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI), QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Technical aptitude
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Be able to stand/sit/walk frequently
- Be able to push/pull up to 25lbs
- Working knowledge of MIs, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience maintaining and tracking inventory
- Knowledge of tool life and its basic applications (endmills, drills, inserts)
- Fork Lift Certification
- Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office software, and Excel
