About The Position

Join our manufacturing team as a Tooling Operations Operator and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. You'll manage essential tooling assets—moulds, stamping tools, test benches, and more—ensuring they're maintained, optimized, and ready to support our operations every day.

Requirements

  • Automation Integration — developing level; integrating automated tooling systems into production workflows
  • Lean Methodology — intermediate level; applying lean principles to reduce waste and improve tooling efficiency
  • Manufacturing Design and Methodology — intermediate level; supporting tool design and process optimization
  • Manufacturing Process Optimization — intermediate level; refining processes to enhance equipment utilization and output
  • Productivity and Performance — intermediate level; tracking and improving tooling performance metrics
  • Continuous Improvement — developing level; identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance and operational practices
  • Problem Solving — developing level; diagnosing and resolving tooling issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively across production and maintenance teams
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on preventing issues before they impact operations
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage tool data, maintenance schedules, and capacity planning for all external tooling assets across the plant
  • Oversee refurbishment, repair, and industrialization of new tools while supporting transfers and conducting compliance audits
  • Coordinate with production teams to optimize tool usage and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns as a multi-skilled operator
