About The Position

Princeton Precision Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Tool and Die Maker to join their organization. The Tool and Die Maker will provide direct support to Tooling, Production, Wax, and Metrology by maintaining, repairing, and creating the necessary tooling to reduce and eliminate production delays. This role is crucial for supporting the manufacturing of critical hardware for defense programs, space missions, and global travel.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in operating a manual mill
  • Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to understand GD&T requirements
  • Basic shop math
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a “U.S. Person” under relevant regulations due to access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating 3 axis CNC milling equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture new and repair complex tooling as needed
  • Inspect finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities
  • Verify tooling and fixturing meet quality requirements
  • Maintain organized workspace
  • Other related duties as requested
