About The Position
We seek a passionate, dedicated, Experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. Lead Teacher – Toddler Classroom (Ages 1–2). In this role, you'll support children as they develop independence, build social skills, and reach exciting developmental milestones. Through hands-on learning, positive guidance, and meaningful connections, you'll help shape a classroom where curiosity and confidence grow every day.
Requirements
- Experience working with toddlers (ages 1–2), preferably in a lead teaching role
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Availability to work within our operating hours of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Nice To Haves
- Early Childhood Education coursework or related education preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Foster a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support daily care routines, including diapering, meals, and transitions
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Observe, document, and communicate developmental milestones and classroom progress
- Encourage social-emotional growth through positive interactions and guidance
- Serve as a role model through professionalism, leadership, and teamwork
