Requirements

  • High School diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  • Background check and references required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment for toddlers.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development regularly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and learning.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Encourage play-based learning and hands-on activities to stimulate curiosity.
