Full Time Experienced Toddler Teacher
About The Position
Kiddie Academy of Longenbaugh-Cypress is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for children ages 12 months (walking) through 17 months. The position requires previous hands-on classroom experience with this age group and a First Aid/CPR credential. The teacher will support young toddlers’ developmental needs and help them thrive in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom. The academy is building a school culture centered on teamwork, accountability, compassion, professionalism, and putting children first. The ideal candidate embraces change with optimism, brings solutions, supports teammates, and is excited to help shape a positive school culture. The position requires availability Monday through Friday, with scheduling flexibility between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on classroom experience with children ages 12–17 months.
- First Aid/CPR credential.
- Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones, including emerging language, motor skills, social-emotional development, and early independence.
- Excellent classroom management skills, including positive guidance and consistent routines.
- Initiative and ability to work without constant direction.
- Creativity and ability to adapt activities and find positive solutions to classroom challenges.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Dependability, professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to teamwork.
- Availability Monday–Friday, with scheduling flexibility between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
