About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Westtown location. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The teacher plans, supervises, and implements an early childhood education program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy; maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom; and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations.

The school promotes teamwork and a professional atmosphere, and its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following education and experience criteria: a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a human services field; a bachelor's degree with 30 credit hours in one of those fields and one year of experience with children; an associate's degree in one of those fields and two years of experience with children; or an associate's degree with 30 credit hours in one of those fields and three years of experience with children.
