About The Position

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a To-Go Roadie to support carry-out operations, uphold high standards of food quality and service, and provide To-Go guests with the same Legendary Food and Legendary Service as dine-in guests. Roadies are described as central to the company’s culture, which includes flexible work schedules, restaurant discounts, friendly competitions, recognition, formal training, and career growth opportunities. Roadies are paid weekly. After one year of service, eligible Roadies may receive a total rewards package that includes medical plans, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, short-term disability, life, accident, and critical illness insurance, identity theft protection, an employee assistance program, business travel insurance, and an annual holiday bonus. The listed pay is $15.00–$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide a legendary goodbye when they place or pick up orders.
Use proper phone etiquette when answering calls and taking orders.
Know the menu to take and place orders accurately.
Organize and package orders accurately.
Work collaboratively with Back of House staff to complete orders.
Partner with Restaurant Managers on quote times and accurately communicate order completion estimates to guests.
Understand online and mobile app ordering systems.
Use the POS system accurately to place orders and process To-Go sales, gift card sales, and cash or credit card transactions.
Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures.
Exhibit teamwork at all times.
