About The Position

Metro Diner is hiring To Go team members, Hosts, and Hostesses for a full-service casual/family dining restaurant. The front-of-house Host or Hostess role focuses on greeting and seating guests, reception and reservations, and providing excellent customer service. The position is offered for full-time and part-time schedules, with day and night shifts. Metro Diner describes its team as a family and emphasizes warm, welcoming service. Advertised pay is an expected take-home amount based on current averages, not a guarantee; employees are paid a tip-credit wage plus tips. Paid vacation is available to hourly team members after meeting eligibility requirements.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong greeting and guest-relations abilities, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and front-of-house operations.
Familiarity with serving basics and hospitality standards.
Ability to multitask, manage reservations, and handle high-volume periods.

Prior Host or Hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred.
