To-Go Cashier
About The Position
The To-Go Cashier serves guests by identifying their needs, recommending products, assisting with menu selections, and packaging orders according to established recipes and outlet standards. The role operates an electronic point-of-sale cash register, accurately processes payment transactions, and transports monies to and from the main Credit cage. It also includes completing daily work-area activities to maintain service, product quality, and cashiering standards in a sanitary, safe, and effective manner. The employee maintains confidentiality and performs other related duties as assigned. The position is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Pay is listed as $14 per hour plus tips, with a starting salary of up to $20 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and available for a schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate a P.O.S. system and/or adding machine and make change.
- Available to work the required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is a plus.
