About The Position

As the TNAP AMP Manager, you will work with managers assigned to their area of responsibilities in conjunction with real property accounting listings to make smart, fiscally minded, logical, and sustainment-minded decisions using preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair maintenance. You will use data to forecast and project future projects, and work between the shops, Requirements and Optimization (R&O) section, and Engineering Flight to prioritize sustainment projects according to Mission Dependency Index, Probability of Failure, and Critical Component Effective Equipment.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Five (5) years of work-related experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of project management experience
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Jordan
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Experience and understanding of construction safety program
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Good knowledge and experience on project design, engineering, procurement, material management, construction, commissioning, start up, turn over work processes, sequencing, and interfaces
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide plan and develop projects in accordance with the approved base development plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of failing systems in order to accurately determine the scope of the projects.
  • Coordinate and host the quarterly Sub-AMP Working Group, according to The Activity Management Process Operating Instruction.
  • Complete design reviews for pavement projects from the Operations Flight perspective.
  • Update the Pavement Condition Index in PAVER.
  • Serve as the engineering expert and liaison for the Traffic Safety Council.
  • Provide complete design assistance services including preparation of civil site work drawings and water/sewer designs based on existing local utilities and facility load and use.
  • Compile and integrate work of other disciplines into the project design documentation.
  • Be responsible for selected construction inspections, quality control, submittal reviews beyond the expertise of construction managers.
  • Oversee pavement and airfield projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, shoulders, and associated drainage systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and inspect pavement maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction activities in accordance with airport specifications and TNAP requirements.
  • Monitor pavement conditions, prioritize maintenance needs, and support pavement management programs and inspections.
  • Coordinate airfield work with operations to minimize impacts to aircraft movement and ensure continuous safe operations.
