About The Position

The School of Music at the University of Northern Iowa seeks applications for temporary camp workers for the AMP Camp from July 26th to July 30th. These positions lead introductory classes and masterclasses in their area of musical expertise (e.g., guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals, songwriting, audio); and also mentor a modern band of students, ages 9–19, using a student-centered, collaborative approach to help young musicians create, rehearse, and perform original and cover songs.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with youth
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and committed to creating an environment where all students can thrive musically and socially

Responsibilities
