About The Position

The TN Brazer Grade 2 is responsible for brazing coils and headers according to blueprints before the coils move to the next steps in the process. The role includes checking coil quality, brazing joints and connections to ensure they are leak-free, and confirming completed work in SAP. Brazed coils are sent to a quality test tank for testing.

Requirements

• Brazing or welding experience.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently.
• Blueprint-reading skills.
• Ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and use hand tools for 8–10 hours per day.
• Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for the position.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize work using Infour.
• Inspect coil quality by checking hairpins, fins, and overall aesthetics, and remove excess oil.
• Braze coil joints and connections so they are leak-free.
• Attach headers according to the print and braze them accordingly.
• Ensure all brazes, joints, and connections meet quality requirements before sending the coil to the quality test tank for testing.
• Confirm completed work in SAP.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
