South Louisiana Community College is seeking a dedicated Title IX and Power-Based Violence Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for all Title IX and Power Based Violence reports. This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and monitoring the college's compliance program for Title IX and Title VII's prohibition of discrimination based on sex. The coordinator will oversee the centralized review, safety and risk assessment, investigation, and resolution of reports concerning sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and gender-based discrimination. This position also involves preparing an annual report, managing daily case management operations, conducting initial outreach to complainants, determining appropriate next steps for resolution, assigning and coordinating investigators, maintaining secure records, ensuring compliance with timelines and procedural standards, monitoring regulatory changes, and preparing regular reports on case activity and compliance.
