About The Position

Join Old Republic Title as an Agency Sales Representative. This is an outstanding growth opportunity for a committed title insurance sales professional. In this position, you will assume some existing accounts but primarily focus on building new agency relationships and supervising agency networks. The selected person will travel frequently to existing and potential clients to develop relationships at agent offices, networking events, association gatherings, and other creative modes of engagement. The territory for this role is the South Central Region of Pennsylvania. While frequent travel to client locations is involved, regular travel to a central office is not required, as the remainder of the work is performed remotely from home.

Requirements

Committed title insurance sales professional.
Knowledge of the title insurance business with experience in all facets of a title operation is desired.
Good analytical, interpersonal, communication, decision-making and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license, sufficient insurance and good driving record, free of major traffic violations and convictions for moving violations.
Persons who have been convicted of felonies involving breach of trust, theft or dishonesty are disqualified from being considered for this position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Ability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.

Responsibilities

Cultivate a new customer base of agents through marketing activities.
Develop strategies to retain existing agents, increase their business and/or our wallet share.
Enhance the market presence of Old Republic Title.
Respond to agent service issues in a responsive and timely manner.
Work closely with our management team to achieve acceptable levels of profitability and market share and to create new and innovative products and services to offer our customers.
Participate actively in state land title association and other trade organizations and stay current with any title insurance issues affecting state operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Stay current on information related to services and products offered by the Company and by its competitors.
Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
