The Title Examiner role provides Nationwide title services, supporting real estate transactions by searching public records and examining titles for properties to determine their legal condition and insurability as part of a production center, branch office, or title team.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience

Responsibilities

Compiles, investigates and examines public and tax records to determine liabilities and legal condition of the title and insurability of the property
Prepares accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures
Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
Performs all other duties as assigned by management
