About The Position
As a Tire Technician at Belle Tire, you provide expert tire services—including installation, maintenance, repairs, and rotations—in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working on cars and is committed to outstanding customer service. Tire Technicians are described as central to the business and as having an opportunity to start a career at Belle Tire. The position is based in a tire and automotive service retail store. The work takes place in a fast-paced workshop and includes extended standing and heavy lifting. Work hours vary Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Sundays and specified holidays are closed. Belle Tire has over 180 locations and 3,000 employees across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-first mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
- Ensure work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
- Explain tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs to customers while providing exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
