Tire Technician (Seasonal)
About The Position
Belle Tire is hiring a seasonal Tire Technician to provide tire services, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and rotations. The role supports a fast-paced, team-oriented retail service environment focused on safety, quality, and customer service. The Tire Technician is described as a core part of the business and a potential starting point for a career at Belle Tire. The position is based in a tire and automotive service retail store. Work hours vary Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. The workshop is fast-paced and involves extended standing and heavy lifting. Compensation is $15–$17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-first mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
- Ensure work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
- Explain tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
