About The Position
Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Tire Technician to join its team in Fremont, California. The role involves pressing and mounting tires on lift trucks, man lifts, skid steers, and performing related tire work. Work is primarily in the field, traveling in a Pape’ service vehicle to service equipment and interact with customers. Pape’ provides training, mentoring, and continued learning opportunities, along with competitive compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Two years of tire pressing experience and mechanical aptitude are preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to drive a bobtail truck and a 24-foot box van.
- Ability to frequently lift and move at least 75 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to operate a forklift; training is available.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of tire pressing experience.

Responsibilities
- Press and mount tires on lift trucks, man lifts, and skid steers.
- Perform other related tire work.
- Travel to service equipment in the area using a company service vehicle.
- Interact with customers while performing field work.
